An exhibition by Inge Morath and Gerti Deutsch 

October 21 – November 4, 2022

Kuma International collaborated for the first time with Austrian Cultural Forum Sarajevo for the exhibition “Woman to Woman” displaying the work of Inge Morath and Gerti Deutsch, two Austrian photographers who worked for some of the most important photo magazines and agencies of the time: Picture Post and Magnum Photos Agency.

The exhibition was followed by a two hour lecture by curator Kurt Kaindl from Fotohof Salzburg who discussed in detail the work of Inge Morath and Gerti Deutsch and their photography practice. It was a great chance for all photography lovers to learn more about these two incredible women working ahead of their time in a predominantly male-dominated industry.
