We are excited to host Smirna Kulenović for an artist’s talk! Smirna will discuss her new project “Our Family Garden” and the performance that will take place this year in Sarajevo when 100 women will plant marigolds in abandoned war trenches on the first line of defence of Sarajevo.

Women are welcome to apply to be part of this unique performance! 

“OUR FAMILY GARDEN” OPEN CALL

An invitation for interested female volunteers of all ages to join the creation of a monumental work of art in the public space “Our Family Garden” by Smirna Kulenović. Invite women of all ages to join, from your family!

On April 6, 2021, from 10 am to 12 noon, 100 women dressed in red will plant marigolds in abandoned war trenches on the first line of defense of Sarajevo, in Zlatište (Federation of BiH).

If you want to be a participant, send the application to kulenovic.smirna@gmail.com which includes your name and surname, date of birth, phone number and names of other participants from your family (if you bring them).
